Algeria- Magical Sahara with Tuareg Tour Package Itinerary:

1st Day: Arrival to Algeria.

• Algeria – Magical Sahara with Tuareg Tour Package starts after handling the VISA application and all necessary formal entry procedures . The driver will wait for you ate the airport and take you to the hotel for your placement.
• Spending the night at the hotel in Algeria.

2nd Day: Capital’s city Tour.

• Start your day with simple Algerian breakfast.
• Today you certainly visit various sites together with a knowledgeable guide. Walk down the stairs of ancient Casbah (UNESCO) and stroll around the Jardin D’Essai. Here the tree from the first Tarzan movie is offering its shade. Then you reach Algerian Monument and the catholic church facing the mighty Mediterranean Sea by the name Notre Dame D’Afrique.
• Besides walking the interesting parts of the city, you have time for lunch in one of the local restaurants.
• Then the driver takes you to the airport to take the flight to Djanet, down south into magical Sahara. Here you will most probably meet your first Tuareg people.
• In the middle of the night probably, we take you to the hotel for a good night.

3rd-5th Day: Algeria – Magical Sahara. 

• During your stay in Sahara desert, you are going to sleep in the tents. Don’t worry, local agent provides the tents and matrasses for your most comfortable experience of magical desert.
• Also, these three days you enjoy and see: sand dunes, natural rock formations, jeep drive over many sand paths. You are free to walk and feel the sand, but driving is up to our expert drivers ;)
• Through the days in the Sahara desert you get to enjoy the full board meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner). Tuareg people are well prepared for all the necessities you might need through the tour. But be reminded – there is no water or shower during the days you spend camping!

6th-7th Day: Tassili N’Ajjer (UNESCO) – prehistoric paintings and life of Tuareg.

• Following the itinerary of these two days, you reach magical Sahara and one of the most famous plateaus named Tassili N’Ajjer. Of course on full board and sleeping in the tents. Don’t forget to ask as many questions you can about the Tuareg people.
• While here, admire countless prehistoric paintings of giraffes, hippos, elephants and hunters. Amazing rock art, still well preserved to teach us what life was before the sands of desert.
• Once in a life time chance to sleep under millions of stars, surrounded by the sea of sand.

8th Day: Returning from Magical Sahara back to the city life.

• As soon as you leave the rock formations of Tassili N’Ajjer behind you, you find yourself back in the small city Djanet.
• According to the available time, have a short city tour and perhaps you are interested for a short camel ride. As is almost your last day in Sahara desert, Tuareg will show you last of their hospitality.
• At the end you fly again back to Algiers.

9th Day: Algiers – Tipaza – M’Zab Valley.

• Already far away from Tuareg you are on your way to once flourishing Roman city to see the archaeological site of Tipaza. Enjoy sea food lunch with the views of the Mediterranean Sea.
• On the way back, you visit another archaeological site called Cherchell or illustrious city of “Caesarea”.
• At last, again you are going to the airport to take the flight into M’Zab valley.
• Placement in one of very small boutique hotels.

10th Day: Explore life of M’Zab valley (UNESCO), the heart of Algerian Sahara.

• Despite flights – know it’s worth it. M’Zab Valley consist of 5 ancient cities, each built with a slightly different structure. Conical structures, with circular paths leading deeper into the cities. You visit 3 of the major cities.
• Discover the local art, crafts and interesting clothing of Mozabites living here. They belong to the Berber tribe with very strict Islamic rules (Ibadi sect).
• Then find yourself in a shade of countless small oasis and palm groves, where you can learn about the life in the desert.
• Enjoy your dinner with cultural program for a good rest.

11th Day: Back to Algiers.

• Before the flight you have a little free time to explore around on your own.
• Then, drive to airport and flight to already familiar Algiers.

12th Day: Flight back home and End of Algeria – Magical Sahara with Tuareg.

• At last you will be going back to airport to catch your international flights.
• Bye-bye Sahara and Algeria.
